We’ve found that using customer-provided flash drives can pose risks to our computer systems, so we kindly ask that you allow us to provide the necessary storage for your digitized memories.

• Provided links will remain active for 6 months post invoice payment and can be reactivated at any time. This is to help ensure we are not utilizing storage space for customers who no longer need access to their files.

• Custom links will remain active for 12 months post invoice payment and can be reactivated at any time. This is to help ensure we are not utilizing storage space for customers who no longer need access to their files.

Access links will be listed on the invoice under the “Online Memory Access” line item.

When we digitize your home movies, the quality will reflect the original format's limitations. For instance, VHS tapes have a resolution of 333 x 480 pixels, which is significantly lower than today's HD (1280 x 720 pixels) or 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) standards. This means that while your digitized memories will be preserved, they won't match the sharpness of modern digital videos. Fun Fact: VHS tapes store data on a magnetic ribbon in lines and columns, with 333 columns and 480 lines of data.

We typically complete digitization projects within 7 to 10 business days, ensuring each memory is handled with the utmost care and attention.

Think of it like stretching a small photo to fit a large frame; it becomes blurry and you notice more imperfections. Similarly, VHS tapes have fewer pixels, so when played on a large screen, the image gets stretched, making it appear grainy and less clear.
