Content Review and Refund Policy: Ensuring a Clear Digitization Experience

We understand that the labels on analog media may not always match the recorded content.  While we do not charge for anything that is found to be blank, we are not able to determine if the digitized footage is usable by you. Our goal is to provide a clear and positive experience, which is why we've outlined our policy below.

Pre-Download Review and Refund Policy

​

We strongly recommend that you review all digitized files before downloading them to your computer.

If you find the content is not what you expected, or you wish to remove specific files from your order:

​

  1. Service Fee Remains: The initial service fee for processing the tape will still apply.

  2. File Removal & Partial Refund: We can remove any unwanted files from your order. We will then issue a refund for the original cost of the file(s) minus a $5 Digitizing Fee per file. This small fee covers the labor for initially digitize the item.

Please Note: Once a file has been downloaded from our platform, it is considered accepted and is no longer eligible for a refund.

The Digitization Service Fee

​

This service fee is for the labor and resources committed to processing the tape and is incurred regardless of the content found or if the files are later deemed unwanted.

This fee helps us cover:

  • Setup & Calibration: Preparing the media and calibrating our equipment.

  • Full Run-Time: The duration required to process the entire tape from start to finish.

  • File Processing: Converting, encoding, and preparing the digital file for your viewing.
